special guests: JOLI BLON
´Joli Blon´, a Cajun-French style abbreviation of ´Jolie Blonde´, meaning pretty blond, is a much-played Cajun waltz (which famously features during the wedding scene at the end of the film, ´The Big Easy´).
The band plays traditional Cajun dance music from Louisiana, USA - two steps and waltzes with a bit of blues - on fiddle, Cajun accordion and guitar and rubboard, and additionally steel guitar, snare/rubboard/triangle.
