Going since 2010, front man Michael J Sheehy describes Miraculous Mule as "... a group of Anglo-Irish honkies who dig African-American Gospel, prison/work songs and Hillbilly music." Their latest album, Old Bones, New Fire (2022), has been rightly praised in mags from Mojo to Metro for its dark amospherics and malevolent grooviness.

Before that, as part of bumper bank holiday weekend blow-out, we'll have a fulsome set from Mark & The Clouds (Marco Magnani - vocals and guitar, John O'Sullivan on bass and vocals, and Hjordis Moon Badford on Cajon) doing songs from their four fine albums.

Making briefer appearances will be the Mike Stewart Theory and Iris Farrer, who will both be playing the Folks' Shack stage at Red Rooster the Saturday following (check this timeline for the flyer with full details).
